Ready for Klaipeda!
The Swiss delegation has now been announced. The jury has selected the four projects that will represent Switzerland at the next Science on Stage festival in 2026.

Around 80 people gathered in Winterthur on 15 November 2025 for the sixth national Science on Stage festival. Nine projects were in the running to be selected for the delegation that will travel to Klaipeda, Lithuania, in May 2026 to participate in the European festival. Held every two years, this festival brings together around 450 primary and secondary school teachers from across Europe.
After the projects were presented on stage, visitors could talk to the participants at a marketplace, where each had a booth to present their project. For the first time, projects from all three of the country's linguistic regions were entered. The quality of all the projects was excellent, which made the jury's task difficult. The jury based its selection on the Science on Stage criteria. These criteria include promoting learning based on the scientific method, relating to everyday life, ease of implementation and affordability. The projects also had to be original. After deliberation, the jury selected the following four projects:
- Pamela Delorenzi & Agata Filippini – Robofish e scoperta dei circuiti elettrici
- Reto Speerli & Felix Speerli – Terra Nova – Why Dirt on Mars Is Worth More Than Gold
- Thomi Scheuber – Aloe vera – Arzt im Blumentopf?
- Pitt Hild & Grégory Chatton – Introducing energy, hands-on, minds-on
In addition to the project presentations, the programme included a workshop on ‘Practical use of digital data acquisition in teaching’ organised by Vance Carter and Lucrezia Oberli (Educatec-systems), as well as a science show with Marco Miranda (Technorama) and Giorgio Häusermann (Science on Stage Switzerland), which had the audience laughing while learning.
